Standard Dual Truss strength is defined by these factors:
Paired steel trusses sharing load across the full width
10 ft center to center truss spacing for balanced load transfer
Cross bracing limiting racking and frame twist
Steel tube size and wall thickness matched to span and height
Consistent bay geometry controlling roof deflection under snow and wind
Shorter bay lengths reduce roof deflection and distribute snow loads across more steel trusses.
Standard Dual Truss sets the baseline for commercial-grade shelter performance.
Paired trusses across the width deliver consistent load distribution.
Frame stiffness limits deflection under snow and wind.
Proven design used widely in Canadian markets.
Offsets weak points seen in single-truss models.

Reduced bay length lowers stress on steel members and fabric panels, supporting long term warranty coverage.
Each system has defined bay limits to match structural performance with warranty expectations.
Competitors group wide and tight spacings together. Alpine structures assigns exact bay ranges to each product line.

Standard Dual Truss performs well in everyday Canadian conditions.
10 ft truss spacing handles typical snow and wind loads without frame movement.
Best fit for general storage and covered work where extreme snow loads are not required.
Proven, simple frame with predictable performance season after season.
Customers pick Standard Dual Truss over competitors for solid value and predictable performance.
Stronger frame than single-truss models.
Better snow and wind handling in most Canadian markets.
Simpler install with fewer field issues.
Less cost than top tier pro models while still giving reliable protection.
More trusses, shorter bays, and consistent spacing deliver stable performance season after season.

Choose between main crank up doors with an aluminum man door or full fabric end walls to match how your shelter will be used. End panel options support walk in access, drive through equipment flow, or fully enclosed storage while maintaining proper fit, strength, and long term performance.
Door sizes are matched to shelter width for proper clearance and structural fit.
20 ft wide shelters use 10 × 13 doors (WxH)
30 ft wide shelters use 15 × 14 doors (WxH)
40 ft wide shelters use 15 × 17 doors (WxH)
50 ft wide shelters use 15 × 17 doors (WxH)
Options include main roll up doors and aluminum man doors.
Multiple fabric weights are available based on use and climate.
300 g PE (good for greenhouses)
450 g PVC
610 g PVC (Recommended)
750 g PVC
910 g PVC (Premium)
Each Alpine Dual Truss shelter kit includes all primary structural and enclosure components required for assembly and long term use.
Included Components:
• Dual tube steel trusses built from 2 inch 15 gauge steel
• Steel purlin tubes sized at 1 1/2 inch 16 gauge
• Crank style fabric main doors with reinforced metal door frames
• Aluminum man door sized 3 ft wide by 6 ft 6 in high (If option is selected)
• Standard sidewall height set at approximately 12 ft
• Heavy duty steel footplates with pre drilled anchor holes
• Ground anchor pins supplied as rebar spikes
• Concrete anchor bolts available upon request
• Integrated air vents on both end panels when end panels are selected
Alpine Dual Truss shelters are designed to mount on multiple foundation types depending on site conditions and use.
Accepted Foundation Types:
• Compacted gravel base with proper drainage
• Concrete pad or concrete strip footing
• Concrete blocks or grade beams
• Asphalt surface with approved anchors
Anchoring Requirements:
• Steel footplates include pre drilled holes for anchoring
• Rebar anchor pins are supplied for gravel or soil installs
• Concrete wedge anchors or bolts are used for concrete foundations
• Anchor type and quantity depend on shelter size and site conditions
Site Preparation:
• Foundation must be level across the full footprint
• Proper drainage is required to prevent water and frost issues
• Local soil conditions and frost depth should be considered before installation
For high snow or wind zones, concrete foundations are recommended to ensure long term stability.
